If you are a jew and you get a tattoo, get yourself in order and get it removed.  If you are intelligent, you will give donations to the humane society, a Torah study such as a yeshiva, a blood mobile such as Magan Dovid Adom AND the Red Cross as well as the United way and probably a few more charities that I leave it to your disgretion.
